Parenting a Child with Language-Based Learning Disabilities:
50 Strategies That Work

In my current writing project, Parenting a Child with Language-Based Learning Disabilities: 50 Strategies That Work, I describe how I help children with language-based learning disabilities succeed in school and in life by using the very type of support I wish had been more available to me as a child. In this book, I share with parents the highly effective strategies I have been using for over 25 years with children with language-based learning disabilities. This book will show, through evidence and anecdote, that kindness and collaboration really are the best ways to support children. And most importantly, this book will teach parents that providing high levels of collaborative support – in a kind way –absolutely can change a child’s life.
